The new Vic-Volume™ software by Correlated Solutions is an exciting addition to the VIC digital image correlation product line. Vic-Volume utilizes volumetric images from X-Rays or CT-Scanners to measure internal deformation of a specimen under an applied load. Vic-Volume analyzes the acquired images to create three-dimensional volumetric displacement and strain data of the specimen’s internal behavior. The resulting data is a full-field contour plot of the deformation data that can be viewed, animated, and extracted for FEA validation.
isi-Studio is a specialized software tool for automatic and manual controlled operating and recording of (speckle) interferometry. The work-flow kernel of isi-Studio records the user operations. Its recall and re-do options of any operation sequences offers facilities to control individual research set ups as well as automatic solutions for industry problems. Remote controlled gain and shearing are features in conjunction with the sensors.
All VIC-3D systems come with a free marker tracking module. This module allows users to track individual points using ellipse or bow-tie style markers. This is useful when information is only needed a point locations, and may be used for large scale applications or crash testing.
When imaging very small objects, it can be extremely difficult to make accurate deformation measurement due to complex distortions that are present. Our patented software module allows for easy distortion correction calibration of a stereo-microscope. This module is also available with 2D applications utilizing images from an AFM or SEM.
The high-speed vibration module can be added to any existing VIC-3D High-Speed system. This module adds the capability to measure full-field, three dimensional displacements and strains during transient vibration events. Operational deflection shapes can be easily identified and measured from a single ping test or modal hammer strike.

Correlated Solutions offers high-speed cameras that are completely integrated with our proprietary acquisition software Vic-Snap HS. This allows the user to easily acquire calibration and test images without having to use manufacturer software. The Vic-3D™ Vibration Fatigue module allows low-speed cameras to capture displacement and strain measurements during periodic, high-speed events. This add-on module can provide a low-cost alternative to high-speed cameras. Vic-Snap allows the user to accurately trigger the low-speed cameras at peaks, valleys, or phase intervals in the driving frequency.
Processing speed is particularly important for long image sequences, such as during high-speed measurements or cyclic loading. As the world-leader in Digital Image Correlation, Correlated Solutions has developed the most efficient algorithms and coding that is commercially available. Up to 85,000 data points/second can be processed using a modern consumer PC with a single Intel Quad-Core processor. This is at least 10 times faster than any other commercially available systems of which we are aware.
Vic-Gauge uses our optimized 2-D and 3-D correlation algorithms to provide real-time displacement and strain data for mechanical testing. Think of this tool as a set of virtual strain gauges: Data can be retrieved for multiple points and plotted live against analog load inputs. Results are saved for every analyzed point, and full images may be saved for full-field analysis in Vic-2D or Vic-3D.

The Vic-3D™ Vibration Analysis system by Correlated Solutions, Inc. is a new addition to the Vic-3D product line of measurement solutions. Vic-3D Vibration enables full-field 3D viewing, measurement, and analysis of transient events. Full-field operational deflection shapes in the frequency domain can easily be seen and compared with levels of accuracy in the nanometer range.
The Vic-3D HS™ system allows for measurement of very high speed events. As with all of our Vic-3D systems, surface displacements and strains can be measured in 3D. Vic-3D HS systems instead include two fully-integrated high speed cameras.
