Augmented and Virtual Reality

Volumetric video is a technique that captures a three-dimensional space, such as a location or performance. This type of volumography acquires data that can be viewed on flat screens as well as using 3D in displays and VR goggles. Data generated from Volumetric Capture is often used cutting edge training and education to create virtual training programs. With volumetric capture, many precisely-synchronized cameras surround a person and capture a performance from many angles.

The recorded video is processed through reconstruction software, which results in a 3D avatar of the performer – a solid, moving model of the performer which can be viewed freely from all angles. High Speed Imaging supplies easy to synchronize high-speed and high-resolution multi-camera system to facilitate setup and integration of such a system.
